Eunexus Launches New Generation in Cards Fraud Detection

Eunexus' Global Review of Cards Fraud in 2008 highlighted the benefits of enhanced intelligence to fraud detection systems.

Over the course of the past 18 months, Eunexus has worked with a number of Australian and New Zealand banks to analyse the benefit of intelligence sharing, and has developed a Patent Pending cards intelligence collaboration system for the major banks in Australia.

Eunexus is pleased to announce the product has now entered an operational pilot with a number of Australian and New Zealand banks working together in a step forward for industry collaboration. The results to date have been extremely positive.

Eunexus Director Dylan Foo says "The intelligence system is still in its early days but conceptually it could be a key weapon in the arsenal against fraud. We have never believed there is a silver bullet to cards fraud, but any tool which increases the intelligence and collaboration of industry information can only help in the ongoing battle against fraud. We look forward to working with the banks over the next few months and realising the potential of this product".
